Changes of inactive file storage time period
In order to use our server space more efficiently we have to decrease the time period of keeping inactive files on our service. Inactive files are the files that have not been downloaded by anyone for a long time. Current time period values at Uploading.com are much overstated in comparison with other multiple file hosting companies.New time period values will be enabled on March 18th, this Thursday. Since that day inactive files of unregistered users would be stored for 1 month, of free account owners - for 2 months. Even with these adjustments time period values at Uploading.com would be among the highest ones on the market of popular file hosting services. Sure, this change would not effect premium account owners - their files are stored on the service without any limitations.
Let us please remind that if you would like to prolongate an inactive file on the service, you just need to download it yourself. However if you have lots of inactive important files that are to be used in the near future, then please contact us and will consider your case individually.
